WinCALIS and UniEdit System Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements for running WinCALIS and UniEdit. However, it is important to keep in mind that the minimum requirements depend on the supplemental language and optional modules that you choose to install. Also, exceeding the requirements will increase performance.

WinCALIS Hardware Requirements:
- IBM or compatible PC using a Pentium or higher microprocessor
- 16 MB memory (16 MB min. recommended)
- 5-32 MB free disk space (depending on options)
- VGA or higher resolution monitor
- Microsoft Windows, version 3.1 or later (for 32-bit version Windows 9x/NT/2000 is required)
- Optional Hardware:
  - Sound Board (eg.: Creative Labs' Sound Blaster or compatible)

UNIEDIT SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- A personal computer with an Intel 80486, or higher processor and a minimum of 8M memory running in enhanced mode.
- A graphics adapter and monitor supporting one of the following systems: VGA
- A hard disk with 4M of free disk space and one of the following: 3.5" (1.44M) disk drive or 5.25" (1.2M) disk drive.
- Windows 3.1 or higher running on your machine. (for 32-bit versions Windows 9x/NT/2000 is required)
